أنشئت في عام 1970 باعتبارها أداة استثمارية للأسرة الطوق. ونمت لتصبح مستثمر المحلي والدولي متطورة.

المؤسس

مؤسس مجموعة الطوق هو الشيخ إبراهيم عبد العزيز الطوق. ولد في عام 1940 في الأحساء، المملكة العربية السعودية. من 1959-1967 درس الهندسة المدنية في جامعات القاهرة ومصر وشتوتغارت، ألمانيا. بعد ذلك درس اللغة الإنجليزية في جامعة كامبريدج، إنجلترا 1967-1969. بدأ حياته المهنية مع مجموعة الجفالي في عام 1970 وتقاعد في عام 1995 بعد أن شغل منصب جنرال موتورز لأكثر من 25 عاما.

He was the Chairman of the board of Banque Saudi Fransi from 1988-89 until resigning in early 2011. Sheikh Ibrahim is also the former Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the period of 1988-1992.

Well recognized in the business and banking community, Sheikh Ibrahim AlTouq currently chairs or is a board member of many companies. He has been awarded many international awards, such as the "Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur" award in 1998 from the President of France, in recognition of his continuous efforts in promoting Saudi-French business cooperation.

His style of value and impact investing has benefitted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a sustained basis for decades, creating employment for Saudi, leading to industrial and economic development in the Kingdom as well as establishing iconic companies as founder shareholder which form part of his legacy of success.

His demonstrated philosophy of patronage of national institutions, non-profit and charitable organizations goes a long way back. Some of the many such institutions where he has lent his time and intellect include:

Mr. AbdulMohsen Ibrahim AlTouq was born in January 1974 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He completed his Bachelor DTegree in Business Administration majoring in Finance from King Saud University in 1995. After his international work experience at Credit Agricole Indosuez in Geneva and locally at HSBC in Riyadh, he is now the CEO of his family office - the AlTouq Group since 1998. He manages the investment portfolio of the Group that spans Asia, MENA, Europe, South and North America.He currently chairs or sits on the boards of several group related companies, such as:
Dar AlTamleek / Arabian Industries / Ithmar Capital / Gulf Investment Partners / Saudi Networkers Services / Quilvest MEA (Advisory Board)

He regularly features as a panelist and speaker on regional and international conferences. He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Young Arab Leaders (YAL).

Mr. Saif Ibrahim AlTouq joined AlTouq Group as Deputy CEO in 2007 and started actively managing the family’s investments with special focus on food, consumer and retail sectors and local real estate. He is currently on the Board of several companies locally and internationally.

His past work experience outside the family group has included extensive working experience in treasury and corporate banking division of Banque Saudi Fransi from 1998 to 2006 including graduation from the coveted BSF PDP program in 1999. Prior to that Mr. Saif had also completed his diploma from The Institute of Public Administration, KSA majoring in Banking Management and Operations.

Mr. Saif AlTouq has also attended numerous business, accounting and management training courses with the BIBF, IOB and EIB amongst others and is a well-respected member of the Saudi business and investment community.

Asher Noor is the Chief Investment Officer and Group CFO for AlTouq Group. His last job was CFO for Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia and prior to that he has worked for Banque Saudi Fransi as well as PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Asher is or has been on the board of many companies regionally and globally, in sectors as diverse as aviation, energy, financial services, infrastructure, information technology and telecom amongst others, representing AlTouq Group’s investments. His corporate finance and treasury experience includes taking a company public, trade sale exits as well as financial restructuring and advisory roles for subsidiary companies. He currently represents AlTouq Group, as Chairman of the Board of Ajeej Capital DIFC Limited – a leading MENA focused, alternative investment manager.

Asher is a gold medalist, has been awarded the Middle East CFO of the Year Award in 2014 and is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He is also a qualified Trust & Estate Practitioner and currently pursuing his MBA in family business from EDHEC Business School, France.
